More and more Christians are finding it difficult to stay in their man made denominational institutions and religious organizations that modern Christianity calls "churches." A "church" body is where two or three are gathered in the name of the Lord to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. Many house churches start among people who first met or meet in an institutional setting, but have a desire to get back to doing things the way the early church did in the book of Acts. Through the centuries of Church history, as the Holy Spirit would awaken Christians to needed Biblical reforms among their institutional settings, many house churches were formed. Such is the case today, because many Christians are wanting to gather as the early church did, in order to experience a more intimate form of body ministry.

Who is HCC?They are not a denomination, a federation, or a closed network. We come from all different religious backgrounds and are not connected by any organization or association. We do, however, hold to the major and essential tenets of the Christian faith, such as the Deity of Jesus Christ, His bodily resurrection, etc. In short, we are simply brothers and sisters in Christ who share a common vision regarding the local assembly. If you hold a different belief system, you probably won't find what you are looking for here (and, alternatively, the people who are participate here won't want to find you).
